XPQ PRC-201L 2:1 REDUNDANCY SWITCH for LNB and LNA


PRC-201L Redundancy Switch Controller is a universal redundancy switch system for any brand of LNB/LNA in 2:1 redundancy configurations.

PRC-201L’s operation is based on measuring the current consumed by each LNB/LNA. Switching from the faulty LNB/LNA to the stand-by occurs if the consumed current outside of certain limits.

The system can operate in automatic mode or manual. In automatic mode, it can work predefined rules, without any user intervention. In manual mode, user can control the switch without any limit.

The system includes a W/G switching plate, which is normally installed in the Hub or feed apex of antenna, and a Controller Unit in the system room. The controller is a 19” and 1RU unit is equipped a with 2x40 character display, keypad and status and alarms LED on front panel, and Data In/Out ports on rear panel. It is has dual power supply to guarantee very high availability.

The PRC-201L can be managed locally on front panel or remotely via RS232, RS485 and its user friendly web interface (GUI) over IP.
